Public Opening Startup Factory Phase 3
& Smart Factory Kunshan Open House

On November 6^th, 2019 Startup Factory together with German Industrial Park Kunshan celebrated the opening ceremony of Startup Factory Phase III and open house of Smart Factory Kunshan. After one year’s preparation, we finally show our intelligent manufacturing demonstration factory to the public! The joint venture between Startup Factory China, the Kunshan City Government, Kunshan German Industrial Park and IoT ONE on smart manufacturing welcomed 500+ guests from government, business and academia.

Our technology partners Alibaba Cloud, China Unicom, Siemens, Malu Innovation, Raise3D Technologies, Suzhou Nonead Robotics Technology, Beijing LLVISION Technology, Meshicon Software, FXG VR, Black Lake Technologies, Thingworks Technologies, VANTIQ, JUMO Process Control, Inc. demonstrated their usecase in Smart Factory Lab. Guests could get an insight into a wide spectrum of Industry 4.0 solutions from robotics, AR/VR, manufacturing software, 3D printing, to sensors in one stop. During the factory tours visitors and manufacturing experts experienced technologies in the field of Industry 4.0 already implemented in a real-life production environment of Startup Factory client companies.

The open house of Smart Factory Kunshan was embedded into Zhangpu Town Golden Autumn Economic Development Event. High ranking officials gave their speeches and welcome notes, Kunshan government headed by Li Hui, vice mayor of Kunshan City, and Wang Jianhua, party secretary of Zhangpu town, Gu Xiangmin, deputy secretary of the party committee and mayor of Zhangpu Town, Xu Suofa, chairman of the People’s Congress of Zhangpu Town as well as German officials headed by Ms. Claudia Spahl, deputy consul general of the German Consulate General in Shanghai; Dr. Sigrid Winkler, executive manager, German Chamber Shangha, Daniel Yoo, chief representative of VDMA Shanghai Branch Office, and as host Christian Dorfmueller, managing partner of Startup Factory. Leaders from CDHAW, CETC and other more than 100 industry elites joined the event.

About Smart Factory Kunshan
