Smart Factory Kunshan presents its unique physical IIoT technology hub in and for China at this year's IOT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona May 10th - 12th on the joint exhibition booth of State of Bavaria supported by Bavaria International. After being at IOTS 2017, 2018 & 2019, we missed the outstanding speakers and really inspiring atmosphere for the last 2 COVID years a lot! Smart Factory Kunshan Partners Bernd Reitmeier and Dr. Christian Haug are looking forward to meet you again in person at our booth to discuss industrial digitalization related to China.
Smart Factory Kunshan specializes in integrating Industry 4.0 technologies into established production processes, with a clear focus on the needs of our SMEs. We do not simply exhibit technologies: we demonstrate how they are used. Through individual use cases, we provide a practical insight into the complex field of digitalization. This open platform enables both European companies and selected Chinese firms to present their technology in practical applications and become part of a multifaceted ecosystem. That means companies at Startup Factory benefit from the latest shop floor technologies.
With our ecosystem partner China Unicom we can provide already now a 5G environment on 15,000 sqm shopfloor to test new applications requiring low latency, enabled by 5G. Already more than 20 partner companies with technology or qualification use cases joint Smart Factory Kunshan.
The aim is to make Smart Factory Kunshan China‘s leading point of contact and learning factory for German-Chinese activities in smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 by 2025. It is a joint project of Startup Factory and the City of Kunshan established in 2017.
The IoT Solutions World Congress is one of the largest IoT events attracting 16.000 visitors from 120 countries back in 2019. A unique event dedicated exclusively to joining IoT providers with industry to help the latter increase productivity via this disruptive technology. Since it’s first edition back in 2015, the event has grown to become the global reference for industrial IoT, and the annual meeting for industry stakeholders to establish new partnerships. The 3-day congress program with more than 250 top-level speakers covers all areas of IoT divided in 5 theme tracks "Security", "Connectivity", "Business Optimization", "Intelligence", and last but not least "Customer Experience".
