Groundbreaking Ceremony of Smart Factory Kunshan

In a joint event of Startup Factory Kunshan and German Industrial Park Kunshan on November 10th the “Groundbreaking Ceremony of Smart Factory Kunshan & Inauguration Ceremony of Sino-German Cooperation Zone” has been celebrated with more than 400 guests at the construction site.
In the official part Mr. Ye Dingda, Deputy Director of Small and Medium Enterprises Bureau of MIIT, Mr. Ma Xiaoping, Associate Counsel of Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Committee, Ms. Jin Ming, Vice Mayor of Kunshan City, Mr. Wang Jianhua, the Party Secretary of Zhangpu Town People’s Government, and Ms. Susanne Lada’a, Economic Counselor of German Consulate in Shanghai gave their welcoming addresses.
Bernd Reitmeier announced for Smart Factory Kunshan its first partnerships with IoT ONE, Wago, Siemens, FIT, Industrieinformatik, WERMA and NEFAB for the intelligent manufacturing lab. The partners presented their Industry 4.0 solutions to the guests in a dedicated demonstration zone. Smart Factory Kunshan is expected to open its doors end of 2018 after the construction of Startup Factory’s Phase III building with additional 13,000 sqm shop floor area will been finished.
The day was completed by a banquet dinner, famous Kunshan hairy crabs, music and dancing. Startup Factory and Smart Factory Kunshan are looking forward to welcome you in the new Phase III end of 2018!

In parallel, 5 Startup Factory customer familiy members SELZER Automotive Systems, GC-HEAT Technology, Unimatic Automation, Joma Polytec and HAHN Automation, which have been ramped up during last year, held their opening ceremonies on their shop floors. They invited their customers, associations like VDMA, and friends to celebrate together. On the big opening ceromony stage the parent companies managing directors Frank Konrad, Hahn Automation GmbH, Alexander Raps, Unimatic GmbH, Dr. Ernst Maute, Joma-Polytec GmbH, Sven Gebhard, GC-heat Gebhard GmbH & Co. KG, and Tobias Selzer, Selzer Fertigungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG joint Mr. Wang Jianhua, the Party Secretary of Zhangpu Town People’s Government.
