BALLUFF host their Customer Event in SFK!

It has been a big honor for Smart Factory Kunshan to serve as stage for German sensor and connector specialist BALLUF’s client event “Effective Predictive Maintenance Powered by Condition Monitoring” on July 28th. 200 Guests from the industry gathered together, which was the first event activity taking place here in 2020 after COVID breakout.
Thomas Sattes, Managing Director Greater China of Balluff Automation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., was the host and delivered the welcome speech in which he expressed his gratitude to all the guests for their warm participation. Prof. Chen Ming, Director of Industry 4.0 Smart Factory Lab, Tongji University, Dr. Tobias Arndt, General Manager, GAMI Global Advanced Manufacturing Institute and representatives from BALLUFF addressed in presentations and talks the current challenges in intelligent manufacturing field and the status quo of computer vision and condition monitoring technology.

Besides the excellent talks, Smart Factory Kunshan’s unique factory tour also impressed the guests. In more than 15 implemented use cases, the combination of real production and smart IIoT applications brought BALLUFF’s guests a rare, hands-on view on new technologies! Whether it’s our collaborative robots, smart vending machine, machine monitory, or forklift management together with BALLUFF, lean training lab, all of them are refreshing to the guests.
